 Why Affiliate Marketing?

You're struggling to make ends meet and decided to go online to find a solution to your problem.


Look at some interesting facts I found online about working online 



Affiliate marketing by far is for me the best online model at the moment.

But what is affiliate marketing?

Affiliate marketing is where you as the affiliate, gets paid a commission for a product that you sell on behalf of a vendor.

What are the advantages of doing affiliate marketing?

  • Start-up cost are fairly low
  • You can work from anywhere in the world
  • You don't need your own products
  • No techy sales funnels as the vendor will help you with the marketing material

What do we need to start our online business?

  • A computer/laptop with stable internet access
  • You need to decide what market do you like to serve

There are three main markets on in the online world. One is wealth. Second one is your health market, and the lastly, relationships, which is your social dating

When you have decided which market you like to serve, you also have to look at what products you like to promote.

But the most important thing to always remember is to niche down as far as possible when you start.

For example, if you start with the Health Market and you go into weight loss, you have to go all the way through with weight loss products.

You cannot promote "how to loose weight" one day, and then the next day do body building equipment

Your marketing message has to be clear  all the way through so that  your customers know  what to expect from you.

What income models is the, in the affiliate marketing world?

First one is your low ticket affiliate marketing that is like your Amazon and those guys.

The great thing about low ticket affiliate marketing is that there's a lot of choice in the products you can promote

The unfortunate thing is that because the, the commission is so much lower, you have to sell a lot of products in order to make a decent income online on a monthly basis.

Second one, is the high ticket affiliate marketing. 

A system that works really great for the guys that do it. But I do believe that the learning curve is quite steep. And if you only have a couple of hours a day to work on your affiliate marketing business, I would maybe leave that for a little bit later when you  have a better understanding of affiliate marketing to help you earn those big commissions. So what would I recommend?

The last one would be residual income.

 Residual income is basically something where you get paid a recurring commission. For example, you look at something like a service based product like Netflix. You sign up once & you pay a subscription fee month after month, to use the service right?

The good thing for the affiliate that refer the customer to the service based product is that the affiliate would do the work once and then get paid every month for it, for as long as the customer stays active in the program.
